Commissioned Works
One of Judy's greatest joys and satisfactions (and sometimes greatest challenges) is creating art for those who need special sizes, colors, and subject matter.
These specially-created paintings are called "commissions." You and Judy can work together to have the perfect original painting for your home, office, or gift!
The examples in the Commissioned Works portfolio highlight various styles, mediums, and subjects and show the diversity of what is possible. I'd love to create something just for you!

About the Artist

Judy Bolton Jarrett
I am a dreamer, and being an artist is the realization of my dreams!! I am a realist, not in my painting style but in the understanding that my quarter century as a full-time artist would not have been possible without the support of my family and my art patrons. I am an experimenter, never truly satisfied with the ordinary, always searching for the extraordinary.
My 21 years in the English classrooms of SC and Alabama brought me great joy and satisfaction, but there was an art itch that I couldn't deny. When I was a student at Presbyterian College, there was no art major offered, so I chose my other love, English grammar and literature, as my focus. Even now, I often incorporate words into my art.
Without a doubt, I’m happiest when I have paint brush in hand and am working out a new design or having a fine time with a different medium. Therefore, I must keep moving into different realms and discovering what is the next step. After all, at my age, I must move rapidly to realize my dreams! Creating art on Beaufort Street for 25 years… thanks for supporting my painting habit!
Artfully yours,
